CHILDREN CAN HAVE A STROKE, DAISY DID AGED 21 MONTHS AFTER OPEN HEART SURGERY.
 
UNDER 2 YEAR OLDS CAN HAVE SEIZURES AT THE TIME OF THE STROKE.
 
SUSPECT A STROKE? ACT  FAST AND CALL 999.
A stroke is blood clot attack on the brain.
 
Face- Ask them to smile, is there a weakness, does their mouth or eye droop?
Arm-Ask them to raise both arms, can they?
Speech-Ask them to repeat common words, is there slurring, do they understand?
Time-A stroke is a medical emergency. 
 
If any of these symptoms are shown act FAST AND CALL 999.
Minutes matter
